Tighter image-to-3D workflows and safer tools
You can now move through concept art, orthographic passes, baking, and final 3D work with a clearer image-first flow. External tools also have a more explicit settings surface and stronger consent checks, while the interface is denser and easier to read. Several reliability fixes make long runs safer, reduce broken layouts, and keep your work and billing boundaries intact.
Release highlights
What’s new
-
Move from concept to final 3D more clearly
You can now guide image, 3D, skin, orthographic, and retexture work through clearer prototype and final stages. That makes it easier to know when a piece is still being explored and when it is ready to be locked in.
-
External tools need clearer approval
External clients can now work with your Artyx workspace and canvas only with ownership checks and your consent. Paid actions are also guarded more carefully, so outside tools are less likely to do something unexpected or repeat a billed action.
-
Read the canvas and chat more easily
The desktop layout is denser and more consistent, with clearer agent activity, a centered conversation area, and better behavior in smaller windows. You also get AI-generated names for images, models, retextures, and chats, which makes it easier to find the right work later.
-
Long runs stay safer and steadier
Interrupted turns recover more cleanly, long tools no longer look frozen, and completed work is less likely to lose its source or history. That means fewer dead ends when a run is interrupted and a better record of how each result was made.
-
Canvas results load more cleanly
New outputs now appear at a better size, overlap less, and recover more reliably when they load. Ask-for-help choices also show up sooner, so you can answer the right question without extra clicking.

Where to find it
- 01
Open the canvas and start an image, 3D, orthographic, skin, or retexture task.

Check the right side for agent activity and output details.
You should see a denser, cleaner view of tools, costs, outputs, questions, and approval points.

Open Settings and review Plugins, MCP Server, Skills, and Agent.
External tool access now has a clearer place to live, and the MCP server is enabled by default on a stable port.
- 04
Work through your task and approve any paid or sensitive action when prompted.
External tools and paid work now wait for ownership checks and your consent before they proceed.
- 05
Save or revisit your canvas and chat history.
