One chat now drives the whole canvas
Artyx now centers everything around the right-side Agent chat, so you can generate, analyze, and place work from one place. It also understands 3D objects, keeps longer conversations from losing context, and cleans up a few canvas interactions to feel smoother and more direct.
Release highlights
What’s new
-
One chat controls everything
The bottom input bar is gone, and the right-docked Artyx Agent chat is now the main place to work. You can manage references, image generation, the Design System, and credits from that single panel.
-
No more extra approval step
Prompts now run automatically instead of stopping for a separate yes/no confirmation. That makes the flow faster when you’re iterating on ideas and want the app to keep moving.
-
3D objects are now readable
Artyx can look at 3D objects as well as images. It creates four angled views of the object and uses them together, which should make 3D-related prompts more reliable.
-
Long chats keep their memory
Older parts of a conversation are now compacted automatically, so long sessions are less likely to forget what you were working on earlier. You can keep building without constantly restating the setup.
-
Canvas and chat feel cleaner
The canvas got several usability updates, including better right-click menus, clickable thumbnails in chat, and a more stable dot grid. These changes make the workspace easier to scan and navigate.
In the app
Where to find it
- 01
Open the right-docked Artyx Agent chat to start working.
This is now the main control point for the app, replacing the old bottom bar.
- 02
Enter your prompt and send it directly from the chat composer.
Prompts run automatically now, so you should not see a separate approval screen.
- 03
Add image or object references in the same chat composer.
References are numbered in order, so you can say things like “use the second one” more naturally.
- 04
Click a generated image thumbnail in the chat to jump to it on the canvas.
The thumbnail will take you back to the source node it came from.
- 05
Right-click a 3D object node on the canvas to see its context menu.
You can also right-click empty canvas space for quick node-creation actions.
- 06
Use the workspace switcher pill or the canvas top bar to move between workspaces.
These controls are now more prominent and easier to click.
