Public launch with faster bottom-bar workflows
Artyx’s first public release introduces a simpler way to create from the bottom bar, a refreshed Prism look across the canvas, and a real 3D viewing experience. It also fixes several frustrating stuck states, so jobs recover more reliably and the app feels steadier for day-to-day use.
Release highlights
What’s new
-
Bottom bar handles everything
The bottom bar is now the main place to start work. You can enter a prompt once and Artyx decides what to make, with quick dispatch instead of choosing between planning modes first.
-
Run several prompts in a row
You can submit multiple prompts back-to-back without the app blocking you. New results now build in sequence more cleanly, so related generations connect properly instead of overlapping.
-
New Prism canvas look
The workspace has been redesigned with a softer, more modern look, including a floating sidebar, in-canvas header, rounded menus, and light and dark themes. It is meant to make the board feel calmer and easier to scan.
-
Better 3D viewing and recovery
3D nodes now open in a cleaner floating viewer, and stuck 3D jobs can recover instead of spinning forever. That makes it much easier to inspect models and trust the app when a generation takes too long.
-
Cleaner node behavior
Several node issues were fixed, including frozen collapsed nodes, hard-to-click top-right controls, and broken connections in chained runs. The result is a smoother canvas when you are moving around or building longer flows.

Where to find it
- 01
Use the bottom bar to start a new generation.
Type your prompt there and submit it directly; this is now the main entry point for creating images, 3D outputs, and related chains.
- 02
Open the compact style controls in the bottom bar if you want to guide the look.
You can add up to two reference images and a style-guidelines field to steer the result.
- 03
Click a 3D node to work with a model, then double-click it to open the 3D viewer.
The model opens in a floating, near-fullscreen-style window with a transparent canvas around it.
- 04
Right-click on the canvas to use the updated context menu.
Menus now appear with rounded styling and fit the new Prism look.
- 05
Look to the left side of the canvas for navigation tools and the minimap.
The minimap is docked on the left, and the toolbar also lives along the left edge for quicker access.
